What is artificial intelligence? Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the ability of machines or computers to perform tasks that would normally require human intelligence. These tasks include understanding language, recognizing objects, solving problems, learning from experience, and making decisions. In simple terms, AI is when computers are made smart enough to do things that usually need a human brain to work. For example, when you ask your phone to find something online or when a car can drive itself, AI is working behind the scenes to make it happen.
